LCA bases the success of our athletic program on the character and work ethic it is designed to develop in our students. The LCA Eagles continue to build on a tradition of excellence and commitment. We believe that a strong foundation in athletics can be helpful throughout life. We also offer Junior level programs starting in grade 7/8 to help feed our senior programs.
Our senior high school boys’ basketball team has won 13 provincial championships at the 1A-3A level and, since joining the Saskatoon Championship City League in 2018, has won back-to-back city championships. We are proud of the achievements of our senior boys.
Our senior high school girls’ volleyball team participates in the city’s high school league, and this has provided excellent development for our girls. The team has also won several 1A provincial championships and numerous silver and bronze medals over the years, with some students continuing in college and university volleyball programs
Our school has a rich history of involvement in high school track and cross country. This includes making a significant contribution to the sport with medals earned at both city and provincial levels. The addition of track and cross country to our athletic program is determined annually depending on interest.
